Beautiful Desktop is all about providing images that are not only visually interesting/calming/stunning, but also have a history. We like our visitors to know that there is always a story or thought behind every image, whether it’s mundane or dramatic.

If you would like to have your images displayed on Beautiful Desktop and shared with the world, just send us an email at collaborators@beautiful-desktop.com

We welcome all applicants and would love to hear from you but please follow the instructions below to simplify things.

In your email include a couple of your favourite images that you think would make suitable desktop backgrounds. Remember to include a background story/notes/thoughts with each image. We will review the images and then upload them to the site.

In the future we may create a WordPress account so you can upload background images when you please.

If you have a website of your own, we will include a link from each submission back to your site.

We are particular about the quality of our images. Therefore all wallpapers need to be able to be cropped and downsized to 2560×1600 dpi. No upsizing of images is acceptable. To create dual display images you need to be able to crop and downsize your image to 3840 (1920 x 2) x 1200 dpi. Therefore to make a single screen image you need to be able to take photos that are a resolution of at least 2560×1600 and for dual display, 3840×1200. Please don’t apply for a collaborator’s role unless you and your camera can meet these requirements.
